Functions

The Telegraph Hotel is the perfect venue for your next function or business meeting. From small, intimate gatherings to large formal functions, our multi-purpose function spaces can be easily altered, converted and decorated to suit a range of events and themes. We have numerous casual, formal and executive function spaces available both downstairs and upstairs. We have beautiful outdoor spaces for summer functions and three fireplaces to add warmth to indoor winter events.

DOWNSTAIRS

Downstairs on the ground floor, the contemporary bar, comfortable dining lounge and bridge room can cater for a range of events. You can easily combine spaces for extra room.

In our comfortable lounge and dining area with a fireplace, feel free to reserve small and large tables or you can book the entire space for a large sit down event or stand up function.  Add the Bridge Room for more space and access to the outdoor area.

This area is just the right size for cocktail affairs, small dining groups, a Sunday lunch with family and friends or a dinner party. Situated in the back section of our restaurant, this can be closed off from the dining area. The bridge room offers access to the umbrella-shaded deck through bi-folding glass doors. Outside access is available weather permitting.

Our main bar is a vibrant and uplifting space with a fireplace suitable for larger parties. Functions held around our main bar are ideal for cocktail style or casual events, parties, birthday celebrations or even short notice wakes.

Aptly named, this more intimate space with a fireplace is located on the south side of the bar area and offers a semi-private enclosure. This spot is perfect for smaller sit-down functions or casual luncheons and small dinner parties.

UPSTAIRS

Upstairs on our first floor, our stylish function area has been recently updated to add that sophisticated edge to your special occasion, meeting or conference. This space features a full bar and two fireplaces. All spaces are accessible by lift.

Aptly named, this more intimate space with a fireplace is located on the south side ofOur grand room upstairs with full bar and fireplace is an ideal space for large functions including parties, conferences, smaller sit-down weddings and larger canapés-style wedding receptions.

Our stunning private dining room seats up to 20 people around a long communal table. It is an ideal space for a sit down celebratory meal with friends, family or colleagues or for a small cocktail style party

Our rooftop terrace features an open-air deck and al fresco dining with views towards Port Philip Bay, the You Yangs and the city centre. It can be booked depending on the time of year and weather permitting.

Our upstairs al fresco area with fireplace can be opened up in warmer months to the rooftop terrace or closed in for cosy winter affairs. Rooftop Terrace weather permitting.
